Role Overview

We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator who will be integral in delivering a smooth and impactful employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This role involves managing onboarding coordination, maintaining employee data, supporting HR initiatives, and implementing process improvements to ensure People programs operate effectively and consistently. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-onboarding tasks for numerous new hires ensuring communications within one business day.
  • Handle background check processes, create employee profiles in HRIS, and verify completion of documentation prior to new hire start dates.
  • Support key HR processes including onboarding, employee transitions, leaves of absence, and offboarding by preparing relevant documentation and updating systems.
  • Generate employment-related verifications such as employment and travel letters.
  • Address routine employee inquiries and escalate complex issues to appropriate People team members.
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS and conduct regular audits to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Keep People team documentation organized and compliant with retention policies.
  • Assist with People-related reports and data requests by ensuring data reliability.
  • Update and maintain operational tools such as templates, checklists, trackers, and process documentation.
  • Oversee the company holiday calendar and manage associated employee notifications and Slack automations.
  • Coordinate wellness and engagement initiatives like fitness challenges, communications, tracking participation, and rewards.
  • Provide administrative support for People programs including performance reviews, engagement initiatives, policy compliance, and annual processes.
  • Identify and suggest improvements in workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Collaborate across teams including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Finance to support People operations.

Qualifications
