  • Lead and support the payroll team daily, acting as the main escalation contact.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving employee and manager payroll inquiries promptly via Zendesk.
  • Work toward achieving STAR Level 2 certification by fostering collaboration, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the main payroll liaison for Ireland and collaborate on payroll system rollouts and upgrades.
  • Partner with stakeholders including HR, Finance, Accounting, and Global Mobility on payroll initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate processing of payroll data changes, taxes, stock compensation, and mobility charges within deadlines.
  • Work with Accounting to reconcile and verify payroll data completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage statutory benefit registrations and deregistrations, ensuring proper reflection in payroll systems.
  • Supervise payroll service providers and approve payroll processing and associated invoices.
  • Contribute to payroll policy development and ensure compliance with current and forthcoming standards such as SOX.
  • Coordinate payroll onboarding/offboarding, including support for international assignees.
  • Lead statutory and business reporting activities such as Gender Pay Gap, Pay Transparency, and employee headcount reports.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for payroll process improvements and compliance enhancements.

Candidate Profile

  • 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience in payroll with comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end payroll functions.
  • Expertise in payroll processing, reconciliation, internal controls, and tax compliance.
  • Experience managing local payroll tax obligations.
  • Proven ability handling payrolls for employee groups exceeding 500 people.
