About the Role
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist (w/m/d) for a full-time or part-time position (minimum 25 hours per week) with our client, a prominent global player in the transport and logistics sector. This role involves independent preparation of payroll for approximately 400 employees, serving as a contact for both national and international staff regarding payroll queries, handling reporting and certification tasks, correspondence with authorities, and managing employee absences such as maternity and parental leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently process payroll using Paisy software for about 400 employees.
- Act as the primary contact for payroll-related questions from national and international employees.
- Manage reporting obligations and certification processes.
- Correspond with offices and authorities as required.
- Handle employee absences including maternity and parental leave.
- Contribute actively to projects aimed at continuous payroll process enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training and/or further education in personnel or payroll accounting.
- Professional experience in payroll or compensation accounting, including independent payroll bookings.
- Good knowledge of labor, tax, and social security laws.
- Experience with payroll software; familiarity with Paisy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent German and good English language skills.
