About the role
Diplomat Georgia is hiring a Payroll Specialist for its Tbilisi office. The company is part of a multinational sales and distribution group operating in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, with a long-standing focus on customer-centric execution and a strong professional culture. In Georgia, the business has been distributing Procter & Gamble and Nestle products exclusively since 2008. This position is a chance to join a people-focused workplace and contribute to core payroll and accounting operations.
What you will do
- Build salary transfer files and prepare the supporting paperwork required for payroll processing.
- Create payroll summaries, analyses, and reports when needed.
- Support the annual or periodic salary budgeting exercise.
- Record salary-related entries in SAP.
- Enter selected operating expense items into SAP as required.
- Take part in audit-related activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the parent company on payroll reporting matters.
- Handle additional day-to-day and month-end accounting and analytical tasks.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and/or accounting.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Advanced ability to work with Excel.
- Practical experience in budgeting and budget control.
- Well-developed analytical thinking.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organization, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
