Role Overview

We are looking for a Payroll and Salary Accountant for a respected, long-established service company based in Nuremberg, Germany. The position is on-site in Nuremberg and offers a compensation of around EUR 45,000 per year.

Profile

Completed commercial vocational training
Practical experience in payroll and salary accounting, ideally using DATEV
Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social insurance regulations
Confident computer skills, especially in DATEV and MS Office
Strong interest in taking on new challenges, such as digital payroll processing
German language skills at C1 level or higher are mandatory

Responsibilities

Prepare payroll and salary calculations accurately and independently within the required deadlines using DATEV LODAS
Support clients on all payroll-related matters
Handle reporting, notifications, and employment certificate processes
Communicate with health insurance providers, insurance companies, and public authorities
