Job description
Overview
The role of Parts Interpreter is crucial in ensuring that our workshop and customers have timely access to the required parts to keep their machinery operational. This position is located at the CLAAS Harvest Centre in Dunedin.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all parts-related inquiries while managing customers' expectations concerning pricing and availability.
- Assist both customers and the workshop in identifying necessary parts for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee inventory management, execute stock orders and transfers, and maintain a tidy and well-organized parts department.
- Keep updated with new products, changes, and upgrades in parts offered.
- Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with customers and the workshop team by delivering exceptional service consistently.
Candidate Profile
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a commitment to efficient task completion.
- Experience with parts or inventory management systems is preferred.
- A passion for excellent customer service, demonstrating a robust work ethic.
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting, yet also be self-reliant when necessary.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and modern computer technology.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
