Role Overview
The Operations Coordinator role entails providing administrative and technical support across all risk solution offerings, ensuring seamless functioning of systems and processes. Tasks involve patient management assistance, system and database oversight, client setup, and communication facilitation within the patient management team. The position also supports the Clinical Solutions staff and quality assurance initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in completing follow-up actions identified from quality audit reviews.
- Offer system support and technical help to production and quality teams across risk contracts.
- Maintain data accuracy through cleanup projects related to injured worker contracts and associated client data.
- Monitor customer deliverables, ensuring timely submissions in line with company Standards of Performance, and initiate corrective measures for delays.
- Participate in report review procedures as outlined by established workflows.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Budgeting, Data Analytics, Bill Review, and Accounting to resolve patient/provider data issues.
- Represent Clinical Solutions Delivery teams in company projects, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on administrative tasks.
- Perform additional administrative duties including uploading records into ECL, archiving patient notes, researching patient-specific concerns, and tracking deliverables.
- Adhere to Paradigm IT security policies, safeguard passwords, and report security incidents as per company protocol.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited institution.
- Two to five years of progressively responsible experience in customer service.
- Experience in healthcare or provider relations is advantageous.
- Strong medical knowledge, including medical terminology and healthcare principles, is preferred.
- Proven ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent oral communication and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions, correspondence, memos, and medical/patient documents.
- Effective written communication skills, including email correspondence and memo writing.
- Capability to present information clearly in individual and small group settings.
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems, evaluate data, draw conclusions, and employ sound decision-making.
- Flexibility to combine education and experience to meet the role requirements.
