Role Overview

The Night Auditor serves as the night-time Guest Services Agent, combining guest services, accounting tasks, and security responsibilities. This role is crucial for providing the first impression to late-night arrivals and a positive last experience for guests departing early. You will be expected to handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, ensure accuracy in bookkeeping, and maintain a secure, welcoming environment during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests during night shifts, greeting them warmly and addressing their concerns.
  • Manage guest complaints related to noise, room conditions, or other issues, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Perform bookkeeping duties accurately as part of nightly audits.
  • Maintain security and safety throughout the premises during your shift.
  • Work independently but maintain effective communication with the team.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and proactively find opportunities to enhance guest experience.

Requirements

  • Availability to work overnight shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Flexibility to work at the nearby Accent Inns property on occasion.
  • A friendly, approachable personality with strong conversational skills.
  • Ability to read guests' moods and behaviors sensitively.
  • Technical competence with hospitality-related systems.
  • Strong multitasking ability and calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Exceptional observational skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Prior front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory.
