Model-Based Developer (MBD Developer)

Role & Responsibilities

• Apply strong expertise in Model-Based Development for embedded software engineering.
• Develop and automate using M-scripting, including M script based automation, graphical user interfaces, and applications.
• Hands-on control model creation and exposure.
• Develop Model Advisor (MA) checks and MAAB coding standards rules.
• Implement and engage with software development processes and tooling.
• Create custom tools within MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, and M-Scripting environments for automation, model refinement, quality evaluation, checking, and process implementation.
• Drive continual improvements in methodologies, processes, and practical approaches.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Work proactively and collaboratively across teams and international environments.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Good understanding of automotive systems and features.
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as MXAM, Reactis, and BTC.
• Experience with Simulink verification and validation processes.
• Expertise in automotive software applications using Model-Based Development.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive architectures, specifications, and configuration.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as GIT and JIRA.
• Exposure to Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) ECU development workflows.
• Experience in building automotive MIL ECU control models using Simulink and Stateflow.
• Familiarity with SL Test Suite and MUT Test Procedures.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
