Merchandiser - Full-Time Hourly Position with Flexible Shifts

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and manage backroom stock by following Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) procedures.
• Utilize PDT and MMS Systems daily to carry out merchandising tasks effectively.
• Manage product returns and execute Exit Strategy processes as directed.
• Develop expertise in assigned product areas, focusing on inventory levels, product placement, and monitoring expiry dates.
• Ensure store image standards are maintained in alignment with current trends, creating consumer-friendly and easily navigable product displays.
• Receive merchandise following established receiving policies and maintain an orderly backroom according to organizational principles.
• Complete all documentation related to receiving and returning goods accurately.
• Collaborate with management to uphold store quality and standards.
• Present a professional image in compliance with uniform and dress code policies.
• Proactively acknowledge and assist customers within the aisles to enhance their shopping experience.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, store standards, and loss prevention protocols.
• Perform other duties as required to support store operations.

Experience and Skills

• Some knowledge of computer use and cash register operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and self-motivate.
• Good planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptability to handle changing sales floor situations effectively.
• Accuracy and efficiency in cash handling if required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Flexible availability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and to climb ladders safely.
