Role Overview

We are expanding our engineering team and inviting applications from two Mechanical Engineers to join our head office in Kilburn, South Australia. These roles provide the chance to design engineered products, participate in significant infrastructure projects, and influence product development within a nationally recognized brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop new engineered product solutions.
• Perform engineering evaluations for cold and fire-rated support systems.
• Offer engineering support for extensive cable ladder installations, including tunnels and other infrastructure projects.
• Identify and solve mechanical issues during design and implementation phases.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and product designs.
• Engage directly with clients, contractors, and external engineering consultants.

Candidate Profile

As a practical, solution-driven engineer, you will apply engineering principles to real-world industrial scenarios effectively.

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing, industrial, design, or product engineering.
• Strong grasp of mechanical design and engineering analysis.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate well within a team environment.
• Effective communication and cooperation with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Experience handling engineering projects.
• Exposure to automation systems or manufacturing workflows.
• Hands-on trade background or practical experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience: $88,000 to $98,000 per annum for engineers with 2 years' experience; $108,000 to $119,000 per annum for engineers with 4+ years.
