Marketing & Sales Executive - Field Sales for Structural Steel Products

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to customers, fabricators, contractors, and construction locations around Siliguri to generate new sales leads and follow up on existing opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current dealers, fabricators, and builders.
• Identify potential customers and explore market opportunities for structural steel offerings.
• Provide price quotations and comprehensive product details to prospective clients.
• Liaise with office teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery tracking, and collection of payments.
• Submit regular daily reports covering site visits and sales activities to management.
• Keep abreast of competitor pricing strategies and monitor market trends.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of three years experience in field sales within the domains of steel, pipes, hardware, or building materials is essential.
• A well-established network among fabricators, contractors, and builders in the Siliguri area will be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in communication across Bengali, Hindi, English, Assamese, or Nepali languages.
• Fundamental understanding of steel product specifications such as sizes, grades, and HSN codes is desirable.
• Goal-oriented with a proactive, self-driven attitude.
• Willingness to engage in fieldwork that requires frequent travel beyond the immediate area.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly remuneration ranging from INR 15,000 to 22,500.
