Role Overview

As Market Manager for Hotels at Airbnb, you will take charge of nurturing and growing hotel supply across the DACH and CEE regions. Your core mission is to strengthen Airbnb's market footprint by developing acquisition strategies, managing valuable hotel partnerships, and creating new alliances to secure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and expand strong relationships with hotel partners to exceed quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct frequent optimization and business review meetings, delivering excellent support including onsite assistance when necessary.
• Manage and improve performance across a broad portfolio of hotels in your territory.
• Identify and onboard new, high-quality hotel supply within your regions.
• Communicate important product updates to partners and relay feedback to internal teams regarding products and policies.
• Utilize data insights to pinpoint and act on strategic growth opportunities, efficiently managing operational challenges and resources.
• Initiate innovative engagement projects using an entrepreneurial approach to drive regional growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support teams to reinforce Airbnb's market presence.
• Maintain thorough understanding of local market trends to inform company and partners' strategies.
• Represent Airbnb externally through meetings with hotel partners and participation in industry conferences to reinforce the brand's commitment.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in new sales, account management, and partner support with demonstrated ability to grow business relationships.
• Preferably 2 or more years' experience in technology or travel sectors.
• Proven expertise in managing a sales pipeline and portfolio, capable of nurturing leads into conversions.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Experience working both strategically and tactically, performing effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Successful track record in cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication abilities, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and skilled at managing time and priorities independently.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, especially handling leads and opportunities; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in both English and German.
• Resident in Berlin with willingness for international travel to assigned regions approximately every 4 to 6 weeks.
• Passionate about Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy; being an Airbnb host is a plus.

Compensation includes a competitive annual salary between €71,000 and €84,000, along with eligibility for bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
