About the Role
ALG is seeking Manufacturing Technicians for a client based in Singapore, specialized in designing, manufacturing, and servicing aerospace and defense systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines and conventional machining tools within the designated production area.
- Handle setup and upkeep of all measurement instruments, gauges, and fixtures required for precise inspection.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues promptly.
- Interpret and work according to technical blueprints and drawings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with shop practices and technical specifications.
- Ensure workspaces, benches, and machinery are clean and orderly after use.
- Report any equipment or tooling problems that could impact product quality or safety promptly to supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess NITEC or Higher NITEC certification in Precision Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum two years of experience working in a Precision Engineering environment.
