About the Role
We are searching for a Manager, HRIS to lead and manage the HR technology ecosystem within an organization based in the United States. This position involves directing operational and strategic HR technology initiatives to enhance business and workforce strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a high-performing HR technology team responsible for operations and solutions, fostering career growth and readiness for future challenges.
- Design team structures and workflows to optimize operational efficiency and strategic contributions.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to develop HR technology roadmaps, prioritize platform investments, and explore AI adoption and future capabilities.
- Manage the performance, governance, and continuous improvement of various HR platforms including HRIS, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning, benefits, payroll, and analytics systems.
- Act as a liaison among HR, IT, Legal, vendors, and other stakeholders to guide technology decisions and maintain alignment.
- Supervise system maintenance, configuration, security protocols, access management, and ensure compliance across HR systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards to maintain the accuracy, consistency, privacy, and reliability of HR data and reports.
- Oversee integrations, data flows, reporting frameworks, and analytics to support effective workforce decision making.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging automation and emerging technologies to continuously improve HR operations.
- Serve as a senior advisor offering expertise in technology and data within HR strategies and initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, or related people systems fields.
- At least 2 to 3 years in a leadership role managing HR technology or systems teams.
- Proven track record administering enterprise HR systems, including configuration, data integrity, integrations, reporting, and support.
- Strong project management skills with history of successful implementation, upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Analytical competence in developing and managing HR dashboards, reports, and business intelligence.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with capacity to work with senior leaders, IT partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with UKG Pro or similar enterprise HCM platforms at an administrative/configuration level.
- Knowledge of integration technologies, middleware, and HR data architecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Cognos, or Tableau is advantageous.
- Understanding of AI-enhanced HR technology solutions and awareness of emerging HR tech trends preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, staffing, or similar workforce-driven industries is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials are considered an asset.
