Job Overview

This full-time role is scheduled for the day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, based in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. The position focuses on operating machinery and maintaining the manufacturing environment to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment and manufacturing areas to keep them free of debris and dirt.
• Prepare and store tools as needed for production tasks.
• Operate machinery by closely following instructions and assist with loading and unloading items on assembly lines.
• Conduct routine quality inspections on finished goods to ensure standards are met.
• Perform non-technical routine maintenance and care tasks around the plant.
• Report problems or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or senior staff.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations within the plant.
• Perform other assigned duties as required to support plant operations.

Education and Experience

• Candidates typically have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Skills and Abilities

• Possess basic verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Demonstrate good listening skills and an ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to handle various roles within the manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this job is from $16.36 to $27.87 per hour. Generally, new hires are offered a competitive wage around $16.67 hourly, subject to adjustments based on market standards, experience, skills, and location considerations.
