Job Overview

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites a dependable and motivated individual to become part of our welcoming Logistics team at Frimley Park Hospital. This active, hands-on role involves ensuring timely, efficient transfer of critical supplies throughout the hospital premises.

Main Duties

• Perform internal transport of supplies and collections across hospital zones using electric vehicles.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vans.
• Receive goods using the Trust’s electronic procurement system, with comprehensive training provided.
• Gather return items and coordinate with the Procurement team.
• Pick and pack stock managed under the Logistics department.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution area.
• Support other Logistics tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
• Uphold high standards of health and safety, including proper manual handling techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

• Good foundational education is essential.
• Certified operation of electric vehicles is advantageous.
• Qualifications like Stock Management NVQ are desirable.
• Proven IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience in stock control within a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, computerized store management systems, or healthcare sector experience is beneficial.
