Job Overview
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites a dependable and motivated individual to become part of our welcoming Logistics team at Frimley Park Hospital. This active, hands-on role involves ensuring timely, efficient transfer of critical supplies throughout the hospital premises.
Main Duties
- Perform internal transport of supplies and collections across hospital zones using electric vehicles.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vans.
- Receive goods using the Trust’s electronic procurement system, with comprehensive training provided.
- Gather return items and coordinate with the Procurement team.
- Pick and pack stock managed under the Logistics department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution area.
- Support other Logistics tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
- Uphold high standards of health and safety, including proper manual handling techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good foundational education is essential.
- Certified operation of electric vehicles is advantageous.
- Qualifications like Stock Management NVQ are desirable.
- Proven IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
- Experience in stock control within a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, computerized store management systems, or healthcare sector experience is beneficial.

- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
