Primary Responsibilities

Efficiently handling all guest and hotel laundry according to specified item requirements and hotel standard operating procedures to maintain cleanliness and garment condition.
Ensuring the proper and safe storage and usage of chemicals, protecting self and coworkers from hazards associated with incorrect handling.
Operating laundry machinery following manufacturer guidelines, considering load limits and operational necessities.
Sorting laundry by type and color to ensure correct processing.
Promptly collecting all laundry items from guest rooms as needed.
Separating guest laundry based on dry clean, press, or wash needs and directing to relevant departments.
Inspecting laundered items before returning them to guest rooms to guarantee proper processing.
Delivering guest laundry respectfully, honoring any 'Do Not Disturb' requests.
Submitting billing information to the cashiering department before shift end.
Assisting colleagues with assigned tasks and participating in any additional hotel duties as required, including special projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Familiarity with hotel laundry operations and garment care standards.
Basic knowledge of fabric types, stain treatments, and laundry care symbols.
Capability to complete laundry request forms and accurately label guest garments.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail to avoid loss or damage to guest clothing.
Basic communication skills to engage professionally with guests and team members.
Ability to respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Understanding of hotel safety, hygiene, and security protocols.
