Job description
Overview
The Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations at Daddu's Biryani outlet in Mumbai. This position involves assisting with food preparation, packing orders, maintaining cleanliness, handling deliveries, and customer assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pack biryani and other food items ensuring proper presentation and safety for takeaway and deliveries.
- Assist in preparing takeaway and delivery orders promptly to meet customer expectations.
- Contribute to basic food preparation tasks and general kitchen duties as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, counters, utensils, and overall work area throughout the workday.
- Receive incoming stock and arrange materials in an organized manner.
- Support portioning and serving of food accurately.
- Coordinate deliveries and orders with partner services such as Swiggy, Zomato, Porter, Rapido, and Borzo.
- Provide assistance at the customer counter and engage with customers when required.
- Distribute complimentary biryani samples to customers according to instructions.
- Follow proper food-handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in opening and closing the outlet, ensuring all activities are completed properly.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this role ranges between INR 9,000 to 14,000.
