Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost estimates, project schedules, and forecasts including technical clarifications.
  • Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope accurately.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and assess change orders with comprehensive cost analyses and documentation.
  • Conduct quantity surveys and site visits across Germany, approximately two days per week.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and onsite teams to ensure project success.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed degree in civil engineering or related fields.
  • Between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in construction cost estimation.
  • Experience with international projects or large infrastructure initiatives.
  • At least one year of exposure to trenchless pipeline construction methods (e.g., HDD, microtunneling, pipe jacking) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software such as iTWO, HeavyBid (HCSS), Candy, or similar, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Valid driving license.
