Junior/Senior Logistics Executive - Bengaluru

Role Summary

The Logistics Executive is tasked with overseeing seamless last-mile delivery functions within the assigned hub. This involves ensuring punctual deliveries, managing the delivery rider workforce efficiently, handling daily cash reconciliation accurately, and monitoring operational performance through data analysis. The position demands operational discipline, leadership ability, and competence in data reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive last-mile delivery operations, ensuring timely dispatch and optimized routing.
• Supervise daily delivery schedules to ensure smooth execution.
• Lead and direct the team of delivery riders, consistently tracking their performance and productivity.
• Address operational challenges on the ground promptly and maintain team discipline through regular feedback and guidance.
• Oversee cash collection from riders each day, ensuring precise reconciliation and adherence to company protocols.
• Maintain detailed records aligned with organizational standards.
• Track, evaluate, and report delivery performance metrics on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
• Monitor key performance indicators like Return to Origin (RTO) rates, identify discrepancies, and drive necessary improvements.
• Promote continuous enhancements in operational efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or senior operational roles focused on last-mile delivery.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing delivery personnel and performing cash reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of local city routes and surrounding areas.
• Experience preparing and analyzing logistics performance reports at various intervals.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership skills.
