Junior Team Leader

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Team Leader to join the Ambius team based at the Haydock branch, servicing the South West region. This role suits someone who enjoys driving, managing their own schedule, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily activities of Customer Delivery Representatives.
• Ensure achievement of key performance indicators including Health and Safety compliance, quality of service, vehicle maintenance, and productivity.
• Plan delivery routes to maximize customer engagement time while minimizing driving duration.
• Conduct field support duties and assist with maintenance and installation of Christmas displays.
• Perform quality audits at customer sites and manage stock control and orders.
• Travel extensively across a broad geographic area to provide hands-on servicing as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably have experience in horticulture or a keen interest in plants and plant care.
• Demonstrated leadership skills within a workplace setting.
• Experience coordinating customer stock requirements to ensure availability for routes and vehicles.
• Ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required depending on role specifics.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starting at 3,604 annually, with an OTE around 3,300 including bonuses and commissions.
