Junior Supply Chain Analyst

Job summary

We are hiring a junior-level analyst to support supply chain activities from a remote setup. The position focuses on reviewing operational data, helping with inventory control, supporting demand planning, and improving processes so goods move efficiently and at lower cost. It is a strong entry point for someone aiming to grow in supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organize, and interpret supply chain data to spot patterns, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
• Help with demand forecasting and inventory planning tasks.
• Track stock levels and support efforts to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Provide data-backed support and reporting to procurement and logistics teams.
• Prepare recurring reports covering KPIs, costs, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with teams across procurement, warehousing, and transportation.
• Suggest process improvements and cost-saving opportunities wherever possible.
• Keep supply chain records accurate and updated in systems and databases.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a similar discipline. The role is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analysis, and relevant internships can be counted. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability is essential, along with advanced Excel usage such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Familiarity with SQL or other data tools is an advantage, and experience with ERP systems is considered a plus. Good communication, organization, self-management, and teamwork skills are also important.

Preferred skills

A practical understanding of procurement, inventory, and distribution processes is preferred, along with exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks will help in this role.
