Role Overview
This opening is for an enthusiastic Junior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Intern on a 6-month contract. It is suited to someone at the start of an HR or recruitment career who is eager to gain practical exposure in a busy international startup environment.
The role focuses on supporting hiring activities end to end, including candidate sourcing, application review, and interview coordination. Although this is an entry-level opportunity, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are important.
There is a real opportunity to move into a permanent Junior Recruiter position after the contract, depending on individual performance and the team’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support candidate sourcing through job boards, professional networks, social platforms, and online communities to build a strong talent pool.
- Review applications and resumes, arrange interviews, and keep communication flowing between candidates and hiring managers.
- Keep recruitment records accurate and up to date, and assist with preparing regular team progress updates.
- Represent the company professionally and help create a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring journey.
- Work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand role needs and contribute to a fair, efficient recruitment process.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and business partnering activities.
Requirements
- Currently studying for, or recently finished, a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Genuine interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and people operations; previous internship or volunteer experience in HR or recruiting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Comfortable using social media, especially LinkedIn, along with basic recruiting tools; experience with Google Workspace or MS Office is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with candidates and colleagues.
- Well organized, detail-focused, and able to handle several tasks at the same time.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup setting.
- A cooperative team player who is receptive to feedback and able to build good working relationships.
