About the Role
This remote IT Support Analyst position is suited to a motivated, customer-oriented person who wants to begin or grow a career in technical support. Based in Australia, the role focuses on helping users with everyday IT issues, keeping systems running smoothly, and gaining practical experience in a growing support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to end-user issues as the first point of contact through phone, email, chat, and ticketing platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve common problems with hardware, software, printers, and basic network connectivity.
- Support user administration tasks such as new account setup, password resets, and access control.
- Record support cases, solutions provided, and technical steps taken for future reference.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT personnel when needed.
- Install, set up, and maintain software applications, including updates and configurations.
- Assist remote staff with troubleshooting and access-related concerns.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service while working toward response and resolution goals.
What You’ll Need
