Job description
About Wave Mobile Money
Our mission is to transform Africa into the first cashless continent. In 2017, more than half of Sub-Saharan Africa's population lacked bank accounts due to costly fees, distant branches, and lack of card acceptance. Many people kept savings at home, small businesses suffered under high lending rates, and parents faced long waits to pay school fees in cash.
We tackle these challenges by providing accessible financial services without account fees, rapid availability, and wide acceptance. Despite infrastructure challenges, Wave enables easy money transfers. Starting in 2017 with an app launch in Senegal, we serve millions across nine countries and continue expanding.
