About the Role
This position entails working as an Integration Specialist Consultant focused on the webMethods integration platform, Universal Messaging, and API Gateway technologies. The role involves development, support, maintenance, and administration within a dynamic project environment. Technology upgrades and continuous refinement are integral to this role, with a culture that encourages cross-skilling and proficiency across multiple integration technologies. The position demands a technically robust professional capable of managing solutions across diverse integration tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, administer, and support integrations built on the webMethods platform.
- Manage and operate Universal Messaging and API Gateway components effectively.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to collect requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable integration solutions.
- Maintain secure and seamless data exchange between various systems.
- Make timely operational decisions such as server restarts and troubleshooting fixes to guarantee service continuity.
- Lead initiatives to create tools and frameworks that automate and simplify existing functionalities and routine environment checks.
- Conduct ongoing support tasks including monitoring systems, incident handling, root-cause investigations, and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide rotational weekend and holiday support, working flexible shifts within Indian Standard Time without night shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong command over the webMethods integration platform.
- Experience with Universal Messaging and API Gateway technologies.
- Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2 instances, VPNs, and gateways.
- Familiarity with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and ETL tools is preferred.
- Willingness and capability to learn additional integration technologies.
Additional Information
This contract role serves Sony Pictures Entertainment’s integration landscape covering EAI and B2B interfaces, focusing on platform development, enhancements, and support during offshore hours aligned with IST.
Education Requirements
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech) or a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.).
