Role Overview

The Infrastructure Lead will be instrumental in supporting Yondr’s Data Center Execution (DCX) teams across the EMEA region, along with various regional business functions. This role focuses on leading design and construction activities related to infrastructure, aligning these efforts with our culture and brand values. The position aims to bolster Yondr’s growth by prioritizing agility and swift execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and set the boundaries for utilities and infrastructure project scopes, including detailed planning for execution phases.
• Engage and manage stakeholders across utility network representatives and internal teams at various levels.
• Lead infrastructure evaluations, planning, and reporting throughout development stages—from design development to final operational facility.
• Oversee infrastructure execution by managing delivery teams and coordinating with Distribution Network Operators (DNO) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO).
• Develop and implement reporting procedures within DCX to monitor progress, performance, and identify risks or issues, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Establish and enforce quality assurance and control processes across infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the primary contact and liaison for utilities developments between internal teams and vice presidents.
• Identify and coordinate exploratory works and site investigations to determine existing utilities, ensuring timely design and execution of necessary infrastructure tasks.
• Manage the acquisition of wayleaves and easements to provide uninterrupted fibre and power service to projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations and standards relating to infrastructure.
• Champion sustainability initiatives by promoting and incorporating eco-friendly practices within infrastructure projects.
• Control budgets for infrastructure-related activities and ensure financial oversight aligns with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in energy and infrastructure project development.
• At least 5 years’ experience managing energy operations.
• A methodical, process-oriented mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions that align with both business objectives and development priorities.
• Proficient in managing multiple workflows effectively with excellent time management capabilities.
