Industrial Cleaner - Night Shift

Pinnacle Group Limited seeks a committed and experienced Industrial Cleaner for night shift duties at our manufacturing location in Rocester, ST14. This position involves joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards at the site. Note that transport to the site is essential.

Role Summary

Your primary responsibility will be managing the day-to-day cleaning operations onsite in a professional, efficient, and safe manner. Tasks include cleaning industrial equipment, factory floors, and operational areas along with specialized cleaning assignments using heavy-duty equipment and chemicals. Physical fitness and attention to detail are critical.

Work Schedule

Position is full-time and permanent, operating night shifts four days a week (Monday through Thursday) from 5:30 pm to 4:30 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of paint booths, welding areas, and shot blast sections using methods such as jet washing, floor scrubber driers, confined space and high-level cleaning.
• Operate industrial electrical cleaning machinery and power tools like hammers, chisels, and dry ice blasters, adhering strictly to health, safety, and COSHH guidelines.
• Manage waste including collection, transport, and storage for both interior and exterior zones.
• Maintain security and proper handling of stores and equipment following safety protocols.
• Complete any additional cleaning-related tasks assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation (Transport Essential).
• Experience in working efficiently under strict schedules.
• Physically capable of handling industrial cleaning equipment and chemical substances safely.
• Willingness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, including working with substances regulated under COSHH.
• Comfortable performing high-level deep cleaning at heights and in confined spaces.
