Job description
Role Overview
Farmfoods is seeking dedicated Hygiene Operatives to fortify our hygiene initiatives at our new distribution centre located in Logicor Park Daventry, Northamptonshire. This is a full-time, permanent role with the option of several shift schedules that include weekend work to support our operational needs.
Working Hours & Location
- Hours: 37.5 per week, spread across 5 days.
- Shift example: Late shift from 14:00 to 22:00.
- Location: Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.
- Induction start date: Monday 24th August.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties in the warehouse such as waste bin emptying and waste compactor operation.
- Manage collection and processing of recyclable materials.
- Operate the bailer machine and promptly address safety hazards like spills or trip risks.
- Record and report damages to help minimize waste.
- Conduct yard maintenance activities.
- While a Counterbalance forklift licence is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old, compliant with health and safety guidelines.
- Physical fitness required to meet the demands and productivity expectations of the role.
- Approach work with positivity, friendliness, and dedication.
- Experience in warehouse operations or handling manual equipment is advantageous but not obligatory.
- Applications are especially encouraged from former personnel of the Army, Navy, and Royal Air Force.
