Human Resources Manager

Role Overview

An established organization in Galway is looking for a seasoned Human Resources professional to join their Management Team and take charge of all HR functions at their Galway location. This pivotal position provides a platform to influence organizational decisions, cultivate company culture, and spearhead initiatives that foster business expansion and employee involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Management Team on various people management issues.
• Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from hiring through to exit and offboarding.
• Handle employee relations matters including conducting investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes.
• Maintain compliance with Irish employment legislation and uphold best HR practices.
• Guide and support managers on all HR-related topics.
• Implement HR solutions tailored to meet business goals.
• Drive initiatives for employee engagement and communication.
• Manage and enhance HR processes and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
• Supervise benefits administration and collaborate with Payroll regarding pay and employee data.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree and/or CIPD certification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Prior experience in a HR Manager, Business Partner, or senior HR Generalist position.
• Manufacturing or SME sector experience is a significant advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence various stakeholders across all company levels.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to develop and deliver well-structured proposals.
• Experience in managing HR information systems and leading process optimization.
