Role Overview
The Human Resources Generalist position is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi, supporting the roastery and coffee shop operations. The role encompasses managing daily HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, benefits and leave administration. The candidate will assist in the formulation and enforcement of HR policies ensuring compliance with local labor laws and handle employee inquiries professionally. Key duties include recruitment coordination, performance management support, payroll administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture consistent with company values. Collaborating with management to enhance workforce planning, training, and employee engagement is also essential.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive foundational understanding of HR functions with hands-on generalist experience.
- Capability to create, interpret, and enforce HR policies compliant with local labor legislation and company procedures.
- Experience managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment and communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
- Detail-oriented organizational and problem-solving skills, with discretion in handling confidential data.
- Proficiency with HR information systems or software, alongside solid skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Academic credentials in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar fields; professional HR certifications are advantageous.
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage sectors, particularly within UAE or GCC settings, is preferred.
