Role Overview
This pivotal role focuses on supporting Saudization efforts, ensuring compliance with Saudi Labor Law, managing HR reporting, employee relations, workforce administration, and providing operational HR business support. It requires an analytical and detail-focused professional comfortable working in diverse cultural and operational settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist the company in meeting Saudization and Nitaqat requirements by tracking Saudi and non-Saudi employee distribution, localization ratios, and workforce movements.
- Prepare regular reports on Saudization status and identify potential risks related to compliance.
- Support recruitment and workforce planning initiatives aimed at achieving localization targets.
- Maintain accurate employee records and necessary documentation for government compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of Saudi nationals.
- Stay informed of updates and changes in Saudi government regulations impacting workforce localization.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and related HR regulations to guide managers and employees in policies covering employment terms, leave, contracts, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other HR matters.
- Support HR processes ensuring adherence to labor laws, assist with audits and compliance inspections.
- Provide HR support across the organization, including handling employee relations issues, investigations, grievances, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
- Implement and uphold HR policies, procedures, and initiatives, acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Assist in workforce planning based on operational needs and collaborate with recruitment teams to fill vacancies aligned with Saudization goals.
- Support onboarding processes and manage employee lifecycle activities.
- Facilitate daily employee relations and HR operations, including attendance, leave management, disciplinary cases, and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate closely with Payroll and HR Operations to ensure accuracy of employee data and timely resolution of HR issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HR roles, ideally within Saudi Arabia.
- Previous roles as HR Analyst, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner preferred.
- Strong and practical expertise in Saudi Labor Law compliance.
- Experience with Saudization and Nitaqat compliance initiatives.
- Proficient in monitoring workforce composition and localization targets.
- Skilled in managing HR reports, headcount data, and analytical HR metrics.
- Exceptional attention to confidentiality and detail when handling sensitive employee information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with HR Information Systems.
- Advanced proficiency in English and mandatory fluency in Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Saudi government HR platforms and employment procedures.
- Background in supporting Saudization initiatives within companies with large operational or frontline workforces.
- Well-versed in HR compliance, employee relations, and government regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Additional HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI are highly advantageous.
