Overview
Elchai Group, a Dubai-based AI-first technology company specializing in AI systems, digital platforms, automation solutions, and tech ventures, is offering a part-time, on-site internship position for HR & Talent Operations. The internship runs for 8 to 12 weeks, operating Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is an unpaid role designed to give hands-on experience in HR and talent operations, with the potential for a paid role based on performance and company needs.
About the Role
The intern will play a key role supporting recruitment, candidate screening, onboarding, and the internal training academy. This role involves managing a detailed talent pipeline through job posting, applicant evaluation, AI-assisted interviews, trial periods, attendance tracking, task management, and candidate assessments. The candidate must be comfortable handling confidential data, using recruitment tools, spreadsheets, and AI-supported HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Create and post job descriptions on recruitment platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Screen resumes and assess candidates based on role criteria.
- Send out pre-interview assessments and monitor their completion.
- Coordinate structured interviews using AI tools such as Elchai Pulse.
- Notify candidates about AI involvement in interviews.
- Maintain standardized candidate evaluation scorecards.
- Ensure all final hiring decisions are vetted and approved by a human recruiter.
- Organize three-day trial periods for candidates.
- Manage onboarding processes, attendance, and documentation.
- Maintain a recruitment tracker to monitor candidate status, scores, next steps, and deadlines.
- Support the Elchai Academy’s internal training initiatives by assigning and tracking tasks.
- Organize brief daily task review sessions to monitor progress.
- Identify candidates or team members facing obstacles or inactivity in task completion.
- Report any issues related to attendance, performance, or conduct to HR leadership.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on recruitment and academy activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle personal information with care.
- Promote fair and consistent evaluation for all candidates.
Candidate Profile
- Strong interest in HR, recruitment, talent evaluation, and people operations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple candidates at various stages.
- Professional communication skills for engaging with candidates.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools for drafting, analysis, and admin tasks.
- Ability to adhere to defined processes, scoring standards, and deadlines.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and candidate tracking tools.
- Trustworthy when managing confidential information.
- Proactive and able to identify challenges independently.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, AI-enhanced workplace.
- Available for on-site work in Dubai.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Good organization and communication abilities.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment, HR administration, or onboarding.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed is preferred.
- Experience with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Notion, or similar software.
- Comfort using AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- Ability to generate clear reports and keep accurate records.
- Good judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai from Monday to Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or internships in HR, recruitment, or administration.
- Experience in coordinating interviews or candidate communications.
- Familiarity with candidate scorecards and recruitment tracking.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems or HR software.
- Use of AI tools in recruitment or administrative workflows.
