Position Overview

We seek a proactive, detail-focused HR Generalist with a strong technology orientation to strengthen our expanding People team. Reporting directly to the VP of People and maintaining a dotted-line reporting to the Global People Operations Leader, you will serve as the core operational support for HR activities across North America and EMEA, contributing to the establishment of scalable human resource infrastructure to support company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR liaison for employees and managers for routine HR inquiries and concerns.
  • Oversee daily People Operations processes, employee support, and system management for North American and EMEA staff.
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, documentation, and HRIS system upkeep.
  • Maintain employee records across various platforms including HRIS, PEO, compensation, and performance management systems.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding procedures to facilitate smooth transitions and foster a high-quality employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, IT, Finance, and other administrative departments.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation ensuring top-tier onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws within the U.S., particularly California.
  • Support immigration-related activities such as visa sponsorships and relocation processes for international hires.
  • Manage compliance needs across multiple jurisdictions including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and EMEA in partnership with legal counsel.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, life event changes, and annual open enrollment periods.
  • Support wellness and leave policies and audit benefit data for accuracy with payroll and providers.
  • Maintain precise HR data, developing dashboards and reports on metrics like headcount, turnover, hiring, engagement, and compliance.
  • Analyze workforce trends and propose operational enhancements.
  • Design scalable HR processes to support rapid growth and implement improvements in people systems and workflows.
  • Identify and apply AI and automation tools to streamline repetitive HR tasks.
  • Work closely with the Global People Operations Leader to select and integrate AI-based HR solutions.
  • Engage actively with internal People leadership and support recruitment, performance management, compensation, and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with external legal, immigration, brokerage, and vendor partners as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of advanced experience in HR Generalist or HR Operations roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. employment regulations, with special emphasis on California compliance.
  • Experienced in benefits administration, compensation management, immigration processes, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Demonstrated ability supporting U.S.-based staff within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Exemplary analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Capability to work hybrid, including onsite presence at Campbell, CA headquarters three days each week and flexibility for occasional evening meetings with global teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with international HR across Canada, the U.K., and EMEA regions, AI-powered HR solutions, transitioning out of PEO models, global mobility support, and professional HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP.
