Role Overview

As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the Housekeeping department to ensure guest rooms are prepared flawlessly and guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This permanent position offers a pay rate of $20.17 per hour and is based onsite at our Lake Louise location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver courteous, friendly, and professional service consistently.
  • Assist Room Attendants in efficiently preparing guest rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of Housekeeping storage areas daily.
  • Manage collection, sorting, and distribution of Housekeeping linens between the hotel and Fairmont Regional Laundry.
  • Adhere strictly to all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Prior experience in a comparable environment is advantageous.
  • Exceptional guest service skills, including clear and professional verbal communication.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure within a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting activities.
  • Continuous standing and walking during shifts.
  • Occasional use of ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, overnight, and various shifts is required.
