Job Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining both patient and non-patient care areas within the hospital, ensuring a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment. This role involves actively participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives, adhering strictly to hospital policies, and carrying out assigned tasks diligently.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning and disinfection procedures by following a detailed 7-step cleaning protocol.
• Observe infection control measures by adhering to universal precautions and safety guidelines during all tasks.
• Keep equipment, storage areas, and environmental closets neat and well-organized.
• Perform floor maintenance activities consistently with the department’s standards and protocols.
• Apply the Service First principles to enhance service quality.
• Meet hospital competency requirements relevant to this position.
• Comply fully with all hospital and departmental policies during all activities.
• Accomplish goals as assigned by the management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant housekeeping experience is required, with a preference for candidates having at least one year of experience in housekeeping duties.
• Education equivalent to completion of at least four years of high school or a comparable combination of education and experience is necessary.
• Training related to the role will be provided after hiring.
