Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to join our team at the Lehigh Valley Health Network facility located at 206 East Brown Street, East Stroudsburg, PA. This role entails maintaining cleanliness and order in healthcare settings through thorough cleaning duties including making beds, replenishing linens, vacuuming, and addressing housekeeping requests promptly.

Working Schedule

The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with rotating weekends. The shift timings are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, quality customer service by focusing on detailed housekeeping duties.
• Clean floors by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing as necessary.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies regularly and shampoo upholstery when required.
• Dust and polish furniture and various fixtures.
• Clean metal surfaces and empty trash containers, disposing of waste hygienically.
• Maintain cleanliness of wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Arrange furniture and amenities to meet prescribed layouts.
• Respond efficiently to guest inquiries and housekeeping emergencies such as spills and breakages.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain professionalism across all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants with previous housekeeping experience will be preferred.

Compensation

This role offers a fixed wage of $15.00 per hour.
