About the Role
Join Iceland Foods as a Home Delivery Driver based in Greenock, Scotland, where you will be active, independent, and involved directly with customers. Iceland is recognized as one of the best large companies to work for, valuing its employees and customer commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load the delivery van safely, including manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Practice safe driving at all times during deliveries.
- Conduct necessary pre-delivery van checks.
- Ensure that grocery items arrive to customers in excellent condition.
- Deliver outstanding customer service as the face of Iceland.
- Assist in store tasks when needed.
- Work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
- Maintain flexibility to work various shifts between 6am and 11pm.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
- Have a positive attitude, friendliness, and strong passion for customer service.
- Exhibit punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of road safety practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of £13.71
