Position Overview

Compensation and Benefits

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience in a professional or family setting is required
• Honesty, patience, and compassionate attitude essential
• Fluent English communication skills necessary
• Applicants without QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualifications should be working towards completion or willing to undergo free QQI training in Care Skills and Care for the Elderly provided by us
• Full clean Irish or EU driver’s license mandatory for roles in Wicklow; preferred for Dublin positions
• Applicants must provide appropriate character references and consent to Garda vetting
• Eligibility to work legally in the Republic of Ireland required

Pay Scale Details (Qualified Candidates)

• Qualified with full QQI including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly and 2 years’ experience: €16.50/hr Monday-Saturday, €19.00/hr Sundays; half-hour visits paid at €9.75 (Mon-Sat) and €11.00 (Sun)
• Qualified with full QQI but less than 2 years’ experience: €16.25/hr Monday-Saturday, €18.75/hr Sundays; half-hour visits €9.50 (Mon-Sat) and €10.75 (Sun)
• Partial QQI holders (lacking Care Skills or Care of the Elderly): €15.50/hr Monday-Saturday, €18.00/hr Sundays; half-hour visits €9.25 (Mon-Sat) and €10.50 (Sun)
• No QQI qualifications yet: free training available with interim pay rates of €14.50/hr Monday-Saturday and €17.00/hr Sundays; half-hour visits €9.00 (Mon-Sat) and €10.25 (Sun)
