Health Safety Environment Officer

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer located in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The primary responsibility involves overseeing and advancing health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with local laws, company policies, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments, safety inspections, toolbox talks, and investigate incidents, recommending necessary corrective and preventive measures.
• Create and execute HSE plans and procedures, keep detailed safety documentation and reports, and collaborate with project teams, contractors, and external parties to foster a robust safety culture.
• Provide safety inductions and awareness training sessions to staff, promoting ongoing enhancement in HSE practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably ADNOC-approved candidates.
• Mandatory NEBOSH IGC certification; further HSE or safety-related training certifications are advantageous.
• Holder of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline; preference given to MOFA attestation.
• At least 2 years of HSE experience in sectors such as construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or manufacturing, ideally within on-site roles and with Gulf region exposure.
• Exemplary communication, observation, and influencing capacities, able to conduct training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings effectively.

Additional Information

Salary ranges between AED 5000 to 7000, inclusive of accommodation and transportation benefits, dependent upon experience. The position is immediately available for candidates holding a freelance visa.
