This leadership position is responsible for Safeboda’s full data lifecycle, covering the underlying infrastructure, governance, analytics direction, and the organisation’s ability to use data effectively. Key responsibilities

  • Create and run the enterprise data governance model, including how data is classified, who can access it, how pipelines are versioned, the standards for documentation, and how quality is tracked.
  • Define and own the long-term BI and analytics roadmap, making sure it supports business priorities across ride-hailing and fintech operations and is delivered against OKRs and SLAs.
  • Build insight packs and KPI frameworks that give leadership a live view of performance, and turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product so data is built into everyday decisions and each function uses evidence-based planning.
  • Design, maintain, and improve the company’s data environment, including ETL pipelines, the data warehouse, and server-side infrastructure.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the data team, while also creating internal data literacy initiatives that improve analytical skills across the wider business.

Qualifications and competencies

The role calls for a graduate degree, MBA, or an equivalent qualification in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
