Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Electrical Projects with significant experience in pharmaceutical and cleanroom sectors. This leadership position involves managing comprehensive electrical engineering tasks from design evaluation, project estimating, through execution, procurement, commissioning, stakeholder coordination, and overall project delivery. The role demands expertise in electrical systems integral to pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, cleanroom environments, utility infrastructures, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical engineering aspects from initial design concepts to project commissioning and handover.
• Oversee multiple pharma and cleanroom electrical projects concurrently.
• Evaluate electrical designs, calculations, bills of quantities (BOQs), specifications, and tender documentation.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Direct project planning, scheduling, execution, and resource management.
• Track project budgets, procurement processes, and implement cost control mechanisms.
• Ensure adherence to electrical standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety regulations.
• Perform site inspections, testing procedures, commissioning, and periodic project audits.
• Lead vendor development efforts, conduct technical evaluations, and participate in tender negotiations.
• Support new (greenfield) and renovation (brownfield) project implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and execution issues during the project lifecycle.
• Guarantee timely, quality, and budget-compliant project completion.
• Prepare detailed project reports and communicate progress to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 9 to 14 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and cleanroom project environments.
• Proficient in electrical design reviewing, project execution, commissioning, and managing stakeholders.
• Hands-on with utility systems, cleanroom electrical infrastructure, and pharmaceutical manufacturing electrical requirements.
• Strong leadership capability combined with excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and lead teams efficiently.
