Overview
New Jerusalem Worship Center is in search of a skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer to join its remote team full-time. This role involves leveraging design expertise to further the organization's mission of reaching, teaching, reconciling, and empowering individuals for ministry work. The successful candidate will be crucial in crafting engaging visual communications across multiple platforms to support the community and various ministries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop eye-catching graphics suitable for both digital and printed materials, including content for social media, website banners, email promotions, and other marketing collateral.
- Create and produce event-related and service materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, and graphics for sermon series.
- Work closely with ministry leaders and team members to understand project needs and deliver designs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Maintain consistency of all visuals with the New Jerusalem Worship Center's brand identity and style guide.
- Oversee multiple design projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
- Prepare design files suitably formatted for printing and collaboration with external vendors.
- Stay informed of latest design trends and technologies to continuously introduce innovative ideas to the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a Graphic Designer with a diverse portfolio of creative projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Solid grasp of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to clearly express creative concepts and assimilate feedback.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage priorities and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Preferred educational background includes a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related disciplines.
- Previous experience in a non-profit or faith-based context is a plus but not required.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from 28 to 35 USD, depending on the candidate's experience level.
