Full Stack Developer (MERN/MEAN)

About the Role

Cheval Group is looking to hire a highly qualified Full Stack Developer skilled in both MERN and MEAN technology stacks. The candidate should bring extensive experience in creating scalable web applications and possess a strong ability to solve complex problems. This position demands the capability to independently lead the software development process from initial concept through to deployment, while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain scalable web applications utilizing MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) stacks.
• Develop secure and efficient RESTful APIs and integrate external services when necessary.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to industry best practices.
• Handle the entire development lifecycle including requirement analysis, system architecture, coding, and deployment.
• Enhance application performance and promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, implementing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product owners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements, recommending improvements accordingly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years' proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in both MERN and MEAN technology stacks.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6 and above), TypeScript, and contemporary web frameworks.
• Experience designing databases with MongoDB and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with deployment technologies and DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and cloud hosting services.
• Excellent analytical and debugging capabilities.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, including platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively within a team.
