Role Overview

Join our team as a Foodservice Worker, where you'll play a vital role in preparing and serving meals to students and staff in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food adhering to recipes, production logs, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in kitchen and service areas.
• Replenish service lines, salad bars, and milk coolers efficiently.
• Adhere to correct food storage, rotation, and sanitation practices.
• Serve meals politely to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing kitchen inventory.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and trash removal tasks as needed.
• Comply with local, state, federal, and company health regulations at all times.
• Support team members by covering shifts and assisting as necessary.
• Submit required reports punctually and fulfill additional duties to support the kitchen team and meal programs.

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous food service or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and collaborates well in a team environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and following standard routines.
• Possesses basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Must successfully pass a background check and fingerprint screening.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Enjoys working around children and participating in a school community.
• Maintains respectful, inclusive, and professional interactions with coworkers and customers.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly required to bend, reach, walk, and use hands actively.
• Work environment includes moderate kitchen noise and requires frequent movement in a fast-paced setting.
• Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday; occasional extended workweeks may occur.
• May be required to attend company events or meetings.
