Food Counter Attendant

Position Overview

We are seeking a Food Counter Attendant to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. The role involves preparing and packaging food items, serving customers, managing inventory, and maintaining food service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging take-out food items carefully.
• Portioning and wrapping various food products.
• Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food dishes.
• Serving customers efficiently at counters or buffet tables.
• Restocking refrigerators and salad bars with fresh items.
• Taking customer orders accurately and courteously.
• Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies properly in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Working in a fast-paced environment.
• Standing for long durations throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
