Financial Analyst – Workflow Documentation

Position Overview

This role is for a Workflow Annotator specializing in finance and data analysis on a contract basis. The position allows remote work and requires commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, with hourly pay between $14 and $36.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and document comprehensive, stepwise workflows related to finance and data analysis processes.
• Perform the mapped workflows with tools such as Snowflake and Excel, ensuring each step and decision point is accurately recorded.
• Utilize collaboration platforms like Slack to facilitate team coordination and gather feedback.
• Produce detailed documentation featuring clear instructions and visual aids like screenshots.
• Detect unclear or ambiguous scenarios during the workflow and adjust documentation based on received feedback.
• Maintain strict adherence to data protection and privacy standards throughout workflow documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics.
• Capability to write effective SQL queries to support reporting and analytical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in creating financial workflow documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to explain detailed and complex procedures.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Slack and office productivity suites like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
