Field Service Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to conduct installation, service, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on various instruments at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, service, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments.
• Inspect and diagnose instruments to identify technical problems effectively.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as necessary.
• Calibrate measuring devices including instruments, sensors, and gauges used in industrial settings.
• Document service activities, calibration data, and technical details clearly.
• Liaise with customers to understand service needs and resolve technical queries.
• Provide technical assistance and explain usage and upkeep procedures of instruments to clients.
• Ensure all field tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Work closely with the internal calibration and service team to handle pending jobs and technical challenges.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced and calibrated instruments at client locations.
• Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines and uphold professional behavior at customer sites.
• Be prepared to travel as needed to support customer service operations.
