Role Overview
This position is for a Field Recruiter supporting bulk hiring for Swiggy Instamart in Pune. The role involves on-ground sourcing, screening, and onboarding of delivery executives and warehouse associates across assigned localities.
Work Location
Field-based coverage across Baner, PCMC, Shivaji Nagar, and Katraj in Pune, Maharashtra.
Compensation
The salary range is ₹20,000 to ₹23,000 per month, with additional incentives and travel allowance.
Primary Responsibilities
You will run recruitment activities in the field, generate candidate leads through local networks and hiring channels, assess suitability, and coordinate the complete selection-to-joining process.
Hiring Profile
The role is open to candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience in field work. Freshers with strong communication abilities can also be considered. Candidates from gig hiring, delivery hiring, warehouse hiring, or blue-collar recruitment backgrounds will have an advantage. A 12th pass candidate may also be considered if they bring relevant experience.
Role Requirements
This is a full-time, target-oriented position that requires strong communication, convincing ability, follow-up discipline, and comfort with extensive travel within the assigned area. A two-wheeler is preferred, and the candidate must have a smartphone with internet access.
Tools and Skills
The job calls for practical knowledge of recruitment workflows, basic MS Excel and MS Office usage, and the ability to coordinate effectively with HR teams and hiring managers.
What the Job Involves
- Carry out recruitment drives in the assigned field locations.
- Find candidates through job portals, local contacts, job fairs, and walk-in outreach.
- Assess applicants against the hiring criteria.
- Clearly explain job responsibilities, pay structure, incentives, and company rules.
- Arrange and support interview and selection steps.
- Collect, review, and validate candidate documents.
- Manage smooth onboarding and joining of selected candidates.
- Keep daily hiring reports and tracking sheets updated.
- Develop strong local sourcing networks to maintain a steady candidate pipeline.
- Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly hiring goals.
- Stay aligned with HR and hiring managers on recruitment progress and updates.
Additional Requirements
- Travel will be required extensively within the assigned territory.
- Use of a personal two-wheeler is preferred for field movement.
- A smartphone with internet connectivity is necessary for the role.
